DIS Group, a master distributor of Informatica solutions in Russia and the CIS, and Arenadata, a Russian developer of a multi-purpose data platform, announced the signing of a bilateral agreement on technology cooperation. The statement was made on May 30 at the press conference of the forum “Data is the basis of digital transformation. Informatica Day 2018”.
Products of Informatica Corporation that solve the data management problem, will be integrated with Arenadata under the OEM agreement and will expand the functionality of the platform. The company DIS Group, in turn, will be able to offer its customers the Russian solution Arenadata, thereby expanding the customers’ choice. Based on Informatica solutions, modules will be implemented to extend the functionality of the Arenadata platform for data loading and quality control, as well as data cataloging on Hadoop.
Currently, the companies are already implementing joint projects, and there are a number of projects in the study in the oil and gas industry, metallurgy and the financial sector.
“We see great potential in working together. Now we will be able to offer our customers a full-fledged platform for working with data based on the Russian solution,” – said Pavel Lihnitsky, CEO of DIS Group.
“Modules based on Informatica products will expand the capabilities of our platform for integration with the external environment and facilitate the integration of the platform into the IT-landscape of customers,” – said Sergey Zolotarev, managing partner of Arenadata.
Informatica Day is held by the DIS Group company and annually gathers more than 300 participants – representatives of major Russian companies. The forum’s speakers were leading data management experts, in 2018 the event’s speakers were: Steve Murphy (Vice-President of Informatica Corporation of EMEA), Giuseppe Mura (leading expert of Data Governance Informatica), Askar Maylyubayev (Digital-Director of Fortebank, Kazakhstan) and others. Experts spoke about new products and trends in data management for successful digital transformation and shared their experiences in this area. The event was supported by Arenadata, a Russian developer of distribution for Hadoop, and SiSense Inc., a leader in big data analytics and business intelligence.
